Where does our trash go? Is recycling actually environmentally friendly? How can we compost through the winter in Minnesota?

As part of Carleton College’s Climate Action Week, join us on February 9th at 4:30 pm in Sayles-Hill Campus Center Room 251 to learn more about Carleton’s waste streams and provide a platform for open discussion about waste issues and the environment. Paul Piper from the Rice County Landfill will also give a presentation on how landfills operate. There will also be food and games! Contact linke@carleton.edu with questions.
