Michael Kowalewski, Lloyd McBride Professor of English & Environmental Studies and Associate Director of American Studies, has been teaching and writing about California for more than a quarter of a century at Carleton and at Princeton University. He will present a “self-retrospective” on his interdisciplinary “Visions of California” course, which explores the literature, history, art and visual culture of the Golden State, and which has garnered national attention both as an on-campus and an off-campus seminar.
