Each month a scrap metal processor comes to Northfield who accepts most old electronics and appliances for free. No attempt is made to refurbish or re-purpose these items. Things like computers, stereos, and de-humidifiers are OK.

Old-fashioned bulky CRT-based TVs (or monitors) will NOT be accepted this month. Consult alternative places like Rice County Recycling Center (small fee) or Best Buy in Apple Valley (reportedly free) for these items.
