Klein has written a powerful motivation for us, regular people, to participate in the most important fight of our times: to block the fossil fuel industry plans to continue business as usual extraction policies that will raise CO2 emissions beyond scientifically acceptable limits. The accumulation of these emissions is already causing much planetary damage with more (and most likely worse) to come in the future of our children and grandchildren. The New York Times has called this book “the most momentous and contentious environmental book since Silent Spring.”
